Clean Energy DC envisions a clean energy future that is more equitable and prosperous.
In 2017, the District of Columbia set out to research and re-imagines what a 21st century energy system could look like. The resulting initiative, Clean Energy DC, identifies what actions need to be taken between now and 2032 in our buildings, our energy infrastructure, and our transportation system to meet the District’s ambitious GHG reduction targets.
MDC’s founder, Michelle D’Cruz conceptualized design for both Clean Energy DC and Energy Choice DC— an initiative created to educate residents and businesses about their affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity options.
